If you haven’t yet bought the new expansion, Menace of the Underdark for Dungeons and Dragons Online, Turbine has sweetened the deal by also offering a unique and limited item, the Stone of Experience. Unlike most of the other trinkets you get that might have a unique look or give you a small little bonus this awesome item will level up a character from anywhere past 8th level to 16th level!
The Stone of Experience is awesome! This is especially cool if you have a TR’d (True Resurrected) character. These characters can require over 4 times the normal XP to level. The Stone of Experience works on these as well.
As luck would have it I had a 8th level, multi TR character on their last life. All you have to do is talk to Braddack Bouldershoulder in the Harbor, near the bridge by the zone into the Market. If you have purchased the Expansion, Menace of the Underdark, then he will offer one of your characters on that server up to 5 Stones of Experience. Then all you do is transfer it to the character you want to level up to 16, double click it, and BAM you receive a TON of experience! I tell you what, I was giddy with excitement leveling up my wizard. After running half a dozen characters to twenty over a dozen times I was not in the least bit upset about missing anything. In my case I was granted 1.3 million experience instantly!
Of course there are some limitations. You can only level up one character per server, per account. With multiple stones this allows you to level up your friends and guildies too! You can earn a few extra things by leveling up people such as a custom pet and bonus Stones of Experience.
Check the forums and the official release before you use the Stones of Experience so you are sure you know what is going on. But get it done as soon as you can because they will all disappear come Update 15 in August.
