I started the item and quest database for Dungeons and Dragons Online because it was really helpful to me and I couldn’t find anything else like it. I’m glad it’s helping so many other players, too.  I wanted to be able to have a different section of DDM’s Realm where I could explore topics more thoroughly.  I wanted to do some reviews, walkthroughs, or just comment on current events of DDO.

So I started up the blog section of DDM’s Realm and I’ll be adding various things to it when I can.  I want to put in my updates of the database as well as go into more detail about some of the changes that are made, including new items or quests.  This website seems to be turning into a powerful fan-based website full of DDO information which I would like to expand.

I don’t just play DDO, so I’d like to discuss other MMOs that I might find interesting or that I’m also currently playing.  I also am an avid pen and paper AD&D player.  I have both played and DM’d for over 20 years. So you may see posts regarding pen and paper playing as well as DDO online.

My belief is this could be a great crossover resource on different ways to play each game, different tactics and strategies that can be employed and channel overall game and knowledge that can help to improve the gaming community.  I’m really excited about the possibilities and I’m looking forward to jumping into these topics.

This blog isn’t intended to be a comprehensive source of DDO news or information or pen and paper knowledge.  Since DDO uses the pen and paper rules, I think a lot of the skills, knowledge and information of the Dungeons and Dragons world is useful to both the DDO player as well as the pen and paper player.

Let me know what you think.  I would love to hear any comments or suggestions of topics that interest you. Thanks for stopping, and remember, I’ll be updating the site frequently, so continue to check back. See you in Stormreach or at the gaming table!
