I wanted to throw out a quick post to say Thanks to Turbine for a very fun and entertaining 5th Anniversary Event for Dungeons and Dragons Online. This was the best event so far since DDO:EO Free to Play was launched. It was great to see the old newbie area revitalized into a fun place to smack around pirates. It was a lot of fun to stomp around the original starting location. Great job expanding the area as well. It was fun to wonder around the island hunting for pirate 
I thought I would write up a quick run down of the Pirate’s Hats themselves. They are actually a pretty big part of the Live Event and should be used if you want to make the most out of your time in Smugglers Rest and Crystal Cove.

I’m going to assume that you have read the two previous articles on Smuggler’s Rest and Crystal Cove so you are familiar with how and where you will need to go to get all of the ingredients for Dungeons and Dragons Online 5th Anniversary crafting.
Crystal Cove is a area near Smugglers Rest where the Kobold Union goes to mine Green Dragonshards. The Kobolds are interesting little critters with lots to say. Their voices are great so make sure to have your sound on! You have to follow the rules of the Kobold Union to maximize your efforts in the dungeon. The Kobold crew is waiting inside for your help as you are offering security and escorting them to the rich crystal caches. Make sure you and your party are ready for a timed 20 minute quest.
It looks like Turbine has outdone itself once again. They have a great new live event planned for the 5th anniversary of Dungeons and Dragons Online! This time they are taking everyone back to the early days of original starter area. Those that played before Ebberon Unlimited was released will recognize this area. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with how it has been redone and expanded.
